Help your child blossom with GIRAFAS’ Montessori Workshop! This fun & creative program is designed to enrich our student’s Portuguese vocabulary while engaging them in art projects, language (introduction to writing and reading), math, and all the Montessori works that are beautifully displayed on the shelves during the day. The Montessori Workshop follows the same principles as our regular program; during the work cycle, the mixed-age group (with children 3-6) is encouraged to participate in mini-lessons/material presentations individually, in pairs, small groups, or large groups. Each child is grouped and taught with other children at his or her developmental level, providing a family-like setting and a hands-on approach that promotes social skills. This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to the Montessori philosophy or continue to motivate his or her love of learning through this child-centered approach.
